Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 2026
Welcome to Izzo & Sungu Kitchen Design. These Terms of Service govern your purchase of custom kitchen cabinets, design services, and related products from Izzo & Sungu Kitchen Design (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By placing an order or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Quotes & Orders
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
A signed proposal and deposit are required to begin the design and manufacturing process.
Final pricing is confirmed only after measurements, design approval, and material selection.
2. Custom Nature of Products
All kitchen cabinets are custom-made to your specifications. Because of the made-to-order nature of our products:
Exact color, grain, and finish may vary slightly due to natural wood characteristics.
We cannot accept returns or cancellations once manufacturing has begun.
3. Deposits & Payment Schedule
Deposit: 50% of the total project cost is due upon acceptance of the proposal.
Progress Payment: 40% due before fabrication begins.
Final Payment: 10% due upon completion of installation and final walkthrough.
We accept bank transfers, certified checks, and major credit cards (surcharges may apply).
4. Design & Approval
You are responsible for approving final designs, drawings, and material selections in writing.
Changes after final approval may incur additional charges and delay your project.
5. Lead Times & Production
Production lead times are estimates only and may vary based on material availability and order volume.
We are not responsible for delays caused by suppliers, shipping carriers, or events beyond our control.
6. Installation Services
Our installation team will perform professional installation as outlined in your contract.
You are responsible for ensuring the installation area is clear, accessible, and ready for work.
Minor site adjustments required due to existing conditions may result in additional charges.
7. Delivery & Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to your home.
We recommend you inspect all cabinets upon delivery and report any visible damage immediately.
8. Limited Warranty
We provide a 5-year limited warranty on cabinet construction and workmanship.
Warranty covers defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal residential use.
Warranty does not cover natural wood movement, improper installation by others, or misuse.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations before production begins may be accepted with a restocking fee of 30–50%.
Once production has started, orders are non-cancellable and deposits are non-refundable.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific cabinets or services in question.
